Ray J Yancy, 83, departed this life & transitioned to heaven on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in Humboldt, Tennessee. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 10:30am at Community Church of God in Christ in Maury City, Tennessee, his hometown.
He was a long-time & faithful member of Market Avenue Church of God; a member of St. Paul Lodge 42, Tyree Consistory 64 Aahmes Temple 132 & a 33rd Degree Mason. Ray was a veteran, having served in the United States Army.
He leaves his wife, Ommie, and children: Tina Cruise, Hayward (Buddy) Cruise, Ray J Yancy, II, Jerry Phillips, Mario A. Yancy, and Michael Phillips, & a host of relatives and friends.
